STUDY ON INTERFACIAL PHENOMENA IN &alpha|Al₂O₃/HK ALLOY

Abstract

Interface phenomena of ceramic Al₂O₃( α-Al₂O₃) with liquid HK alloy were investigated experimentally by the sessile drop method. Studies were focused on the wettability, interfacial cohesive strength and interfacial interaction between Al₂O₃ and HK alloy, and the effects of temperatures and holding time.
