STUDY ON FATIGUE BEHAVIOR OF UNIDIRECTONAL POLYESTER CORD/RUBBER COMPOSITES

  • 摘要: 利用自行建立的试验系统, 首次对单向聚酯帘线增强橡胶材料进行了疲劳测试, 研究了应变、频率和温度对疲劳损伤累积的影响, 并给出了疲劳寿命预报方程, 为评价轮胎的疲劳特性、预报轮胎的疲劳寿命提供了有效的手段。
    Abstract: A fatigue testing system for polyester cord/rubber composites was established in this paper. Based on this system, the fatigue properties of unidirectional polyester cord/rubber composites under cyclic loading were assessed and the fatigue life prediction equation of rubber composites was given. The study also examined the effect of strain, frequency and temperature on the damage accumulation process of rubber composites. The results indicated that fatigue lifetime and damage accumulation of rubber composites were strongly influenced by cyclic frequency because of hysteretic loss of the materials. This paper offers a method available for evaluating the fatigue behavior of tires and predicting the fatigue lifetime of tires.
