EFFECT OF INTERFACIAL COATING ON THERMAL STRESS IN COMPOSITES

  • 摘要: 由于复合材料组分的热物理性能不同引起的残余应力是影响复合材料性能的一个重要因素,有必要对其进行认真的研究.本文利用热弹性力学值解,提出了在单向纤维增强复合材料体系中,纤维表面附着涂层的复合材料残余应力的分析模型.
    Abstract: A Preliminary model for the analysis of thermo-mechanical behavior of interfacial coating on fibers in unidirectional composites was developed on the solution of thermo-elastic mechanics.The low modulus coating can effectively reduce the interfacial stress caused by different thermal expansion coefficient between fibers and matrix,no matter how high or low the expansion coefficients of coatings are in CF/Al and SiC/Ti systems,however,high modulus coating can decrease the interfacial compressive stress,only when the thermal expomsion of coating is low.
