海藻酸钠-二氧化硅/聚丙烯酸水凝胶粉末的制备及其吸附水中氨氮的研究

Preparation of sodium alginate-silica/polyacrylic acid composite hydrogel powder and its research on adsorption of ammonia nitrogen in water

  • 摘要: 制备了一种海藻酸钠-二氧化硅/聚丙烯酸(SA-SiO2/PAA)复合水凝胶粉末用于吸附水中氨氮,并通过FTIR、XPS、SEM-EDS、BET、ζ电位进行了表征。FTIR、SEM-EDS表征结果表明SiO2成功复合到水凝胶中。BET表征结果表明,水凝胶粉末的比表面积为2.689 m2·g−1,总孔容为0.007 cm3·g−1,平均孔径为10.35 nm。氨氮吸附实验结果表明:SA-SiO2/PAA复合水凝胶对氨氮的吸附符合伪二级动力学模型,Langmuir吸附等温线模型对SA-SiO2/PAA复合水凝胶吸附行为拟合更好,根据Langmuir模型拟合后的最大吸附量为83.29 mg/g。当氨氮溶液初始浓度为200 mg/L,初始pH值为9.0,吸附剂投加量为2.5 g/L,吸附时间为80 min时吸附效果最好,平衡时吸附容量为37.4 mg/g。研究结果表明氨氮主要的吸附机制为羧基与NH4+静电相互作用、氢键作用、离子交换、孔吸附。

     

    Abstract: The sodium alginate-silica/polyacrylic acid (SA-SiO2/PAA) composite hydrogel powder was prepared for adsorption of ammonia nitrogen in water and was characterized by FTIR, XPS, SEM-EDS, BET and ζ potential. FTIR and SEM-EDS characterization results show that SiO2 is successfully compounded into the hydrogel. The BET characterization results indicate that the specific surface area of the adsorbent is 2.689 m2·g−1, the total pore volume is 0.007 cm3·g−1, and the average pore size is 10.35 nm. The ammonia nitrogen adsorption experiment results show that the adsorption of ammonia nitrogen on the SA-SiO2/PAA composite hydrogel conformed to the pseudo second order kinetic model. The Langmuir adsorption isotherm model fits the adsorption behavior of the SA-SiO2/PAA composite hydrogel better, and the maximum adsorption capacity is 83.29 mg/g according to the Langmuir model. When the initial concentration of ammonia nitrogen in the solution is 200 mg/L, the initial pH value is 9.0, the adsorbent dosage is 2.5 g/L, and the adsorption time is 80 minutes, the adsorption effect is the best, at equilibrium, the adsorption capacity is 37.4 mg/g. The research results indicate that the main adsorption mechanisms of ammonia nitrogen are electrostatic interaction between carboxyl groups and NH4+, hydrogen bonding, ion exchange and pore adsorption.
