Abstract: Based on the work presented in paper 1, a new homogenisation method for the analysis of assemblage of elastic contact bodies is proposed in this paper. An important feature of this work is to define numerically a homogenised constitutive relationship for the global behaviour of the assemblies in terms of the analysis on the RVE level, and a new consistent homogenisation method is furthermore presented. Numerical example and results are given to demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the new method.
