Abstract:
A series of new resin systems were prepared by using diamines and N-phenol maleimide to modify BMI resin. The effect of nanometer sized TiO
2 on reactivity and thermal properties of modified BMI resins was determined by gel characteristics, FT-IR and thermal analysis technology. The results show that the modified BMI resins have a low melting point (70~90℃) and better solubility, and are soluble in acetone. The nanometer sized TiO
2 could decrease the curing temperature by 45~105℃ and increase the thermal stability of the cured resins as well.
