Abstract:
The CPP/PLLA composites of the scaffold for cartilage tissue engineering were fabricated with a solvent-casting, particulate-leaching method. Their properties of physical mechanics and degradation rates
in vitro (in hank's at 37℃) were measured. The experimental results show that the composites have high porosity(
ε=90%), good biodegradability and compressive modulus (8.6 GPa) as well as the 3-D ,connectivity network microstructures. Therefore, this composites might be one of cartilage scaffold materials for tissue engineering with potentially broad applicability.
