基于共焦点椭球构型的复合材料有效性质预测

EFFECTIVE MODULI OF COMPOSITES BASED ON CONFOCAL ELLIPSOID MODEL

  • 摘要: 介绍了共焦点椭球构型,给出了基于该构型对空间任意取向复合材料模量的解析计算公式,并将其同Mori-Tanaka(MT)法、Ponte-Castaneda-Willis (PCW)方法以及Hashin-Shtrikman(HS)界限进行了比较。数值结果显示,基于该构型的预测处于MT法和PCW法所预测的值之间,并且与MT法所预测的值接近。此外,还对纤维不同的角度平均方法对有效性质的影响做了讨论。

     

    Abstract: A confocal ellipsoid model is proposed to predict the effective moduli of the composites with three-dimensional randomly oriented inclusions. The change of inclusion's distribution due to the increase of the inclusion's volume fraction is taken into account. The analytical expressions of the effective shear and bulk moduli are given, and they are compared with those predicted by Mori-Tanaka(MT) method,Ponte-Castaneda-Willis(PCW) method and Hashin-Shtrikman(HS)bounds. The results show that the prediction of the present method is between the results of the MT method and the PCW method. In addition, the influence of different orientational averaging methods on the effective moduli of composites is also discussed.
