Abstract: The resin flow in RTM process for thick section parts was investigated. A program HEXCV for three dimensional resin flow process was developed based on the hexahedral element with the finite element/control volume method (FE/CVM). The accuracy and the reliability of the HEXCV program were confirmed, compared with the analytical solutions. Numerical examples show that the HEXCV program can provide an effective reference for the process design.
