Abstract:
Taking the mixture powders of Cu-Ni-Y
2O
3 MoS
2 Graphite as the matrix,and adding nano-Al
2O
3 mass fraction of 0%,1%,2%,3% and 4% as the particle ment reinforce phase,Cu- based self-lubricating composite was prepared by powder metallurgy technology. The results show that the density of the samples decreases with increasing the content of nano-Al
2O
3,but the hardness and crushing strength of the samples increase firstly,then decrease. The hardness increas from HV 23.7 to HV 35.1 and the crushing strength increases from 189 to 276 MPa with the increasing mass frautions of nano-Al
2O
3 from 0% to 2%. Friction coefficient of the materials with the mixture of graphite and MoS
2 is about 0.12. The least wear loss is 1/7~1/8 by contrasting the sample with non-nano-Al
2O
3. The copper-based self-lubricating composites reinforced with Ni and nano-Al
2O
3 by dispersion strengthening,and added with graphite and MoS
2 as solid lubricant,have definite self-lubricating property.
