Abstract:
The hybrid composites containing Kevlar fibres have very low cornpressive strength because of the structure of Kevlar fibres.It is necessary for us to study the compressive behaviour of hybrid composites containing Kevaar fibres.The domestic carbon and glass fiber were used to produce C/K and G/K unidirectional hybrid laminates, and their compressive properties were tested.The relationship between compressive behaviour and hybrid ratio was found.Meanwhile the compressive properties of KFRP and its hybrid composites were revealed by comparing their tensile and compressive properies,Some property analyses were made in terms of constitutional structure, Finally a brief introduction was made to failure morphology.
