Abstract: In this paper,the authors deal with the composite effect and the conditions of coupled reaction of a heterogeneous system involving hydrophobic rubber as continuous phase and the close coupling modified clay as dispersed phase.The mode of coupling at the surface of hydrophilic clay is explored primarily by making use of IR sapetrometry.
