Abstract: Tensile stress was applied to the fibe: repreg to modify the residual streases in ARALL during curing. The residual stresses in as cured and prestressd ARA.LL were analysed, and the relationships between residual stress and prestresset different temperatures were given.The residual stresses were measured by means of strain gauges.The influences of prestxess on tensile and fatigue properties of ARALL were also studied.
