Abstract: The influence of fiber pre-stressing during curing of VIRALL laminates on its tensile properties has been experimentally investigated on the basis of studying the tensile behavior of Vinylon strands.It is revealed that pre-stressing of fibers could effectively increase the elastic limit,yielding strength and fracture strength of VIRALL laminates.
