时效状态及晶须位向对SiCw/Al复合材料干滑动摩擦磨损行为的影响

EFFECTS OF AGING AND WHISKER-ORIENTATION ON WEAR BEHAVIOR OF SiCw/Al COMPOSITES UNDER UNLUBRICATED SLIDING FRICTION

  • 摘要: 本文研究了SiC晶须增强铝基复合材料在于滑动摩擦条件下,时效处理及晶须位向对复合材料磨损行为的影响,同时分析了不同状态下的复合材料对对磨环的磨损。结果表明:当晶须定向排列且垂直于摩擦面时复合材料的耐磨性最佳;适当的过时效处理可使复合材料获得比欠时效和峰时效更好的耐磨性,并且此时对对磨环的磨损也较轻,这是由于磨损过程中晶须剥落减少的缘故。

     

    Abstract: The effects of aging and whisker-orientation on the wear behavior of SiCw/Al composites under unlubricated sliding friction were investigated.The surface profiles of GCr 15 rings against different aging treated MMC samples were also studied.The results show that the whisker orientation in the as-extruded SiCw/Al composite exerts a significant influence on the wear resistance;the lowest wear rate was observed on the specimen in which the axis of SiCw is normal to the wear surface.Proper over-aging provides the best wear resistance and results in milder damage to the counter ring due to less departure and fracture of SiC whiskers.
