Abstract: The Bauschinger effect of whisker-reinforced-metal matrix composite materials is researched with the modified equivalent inclusion theory by the authors.The influences of the loading sequence and whisker content on the Bauschinger effect are discussed.The theoretical model in this paper can simulate the Bauschinger effect numerically.
