Abstract:
In order to compensate for the defects of the traditional Cu
2S counter electrode in the liquid polysulfide electrolyte, it shows higher electrocatalytic activity against the electrode. In this paper, carbon nanofiber-supported bimetallic sulfide NiS
2-FeS
2 (NiS
2-FeS
2/CNFs) counter electrode has been successfully prepared by electrospinning technology and a simple one-step hydrothermal method, which shows excellent electrochemical performance when applied to quantum dot sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs). At the same time, NiS
2-FeS
2 composites with different concentrations show great differences under SEM, and the preparation of paired electrodes loaded with carbon nanofibers also has a great impact on the battery performance. Therefore, this paper focuses on exploring the effect of NiS
2-FeS
2/CNFs counter electrode with different concentrations prepared by hydrothermal method on the photoelectric performance of QDSSCs assembled by the counter electrode, so as to obtain the best counter electrode concentration. The experimental results show that when the NiS
2-FeS
2/CNFs concentration ratio is 0.8, the maximum photoelectric conversion efficiency (PCE) of the battery is 8.05%.
