Abstract:
Tea polyphenol (TP)-polylactic acid (PLA)/polybutylene carbonate (PBC) composite fiber membranes were successfully prepared by electrospinning. The embranes were characterized by SEM, FTIR, TG, contact angle and bacteriostatic test. The results show that the TP and PLA/PBC composite fiber films are well blended, and the contact angle of TP-PLA/PBC decreases from 105.42° to 69.41° after 10 s of wet test. The addition of TP improves the thermal decomposition stability of TP-PLA/PBC composite fiber membranes. With the increase of TP content, the fiber diameter distribution gradually becomes uniform and tends to decrease. The antimicrobial activity of TP-PLA/PBC composite fiber membranes is much higher than that of pure PLA/PBC composite fiber membranes, and the antimicrobial activity against
E.coli is also slightly higher than
S.aureus. When the mass ratio of TP to PLA/PBC is 20%, the TP-PLA/PBC composite fiber membrane excellent in hydrophilicity, thermal stability and antibacterial property is obtained.
