Abstract:
The ZrO
2/polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) composites were prepared via melting method. The morphology and structure of ZrO
2/PVDF composites were analyzed by SEM, XRD and FTIR. The results show that the ZrO
2/PVDF composites with the uniformly distributed ZrO
2 are mainly composed of a large number of α phases and a small amount of γ phase. In addition, dielectric constant ε' of ZrO
2/PVDF composites increases with the increase of ZrO
2 content by dielectric spectroscopy (BDS) and the dielectric loss tan
δ value keeps a constant, indicating that the dielectric properties of ZrO
2/PVDF composites can be significantly improved by adding ZrO
2. By calculating the dielectric modulus
M″ and activation energy of ZrO
2/PVDF composites, the glass transition peaks, defect peaks and interfacial polarization peaks have been observed. The activation energy of ZrO
2/PVDF composite increases with the addition of ZrO
