Abstract:
xTi/Fe-3Si-0.5Al-2Ni (
x=0, 1, 2) soft magnetic composites were prepared by gas atomization and compression molding. The phase structures, morphologies and magnetic properties of the both powders and Ti/Fe-3Si-0.5Al-2Ni soft magnetic composites were analyzed by XRD, SEM, physical property measurement system (PPMS) and soft magnetic alternating current measuring instrument. The effects of Ti element doping on curie temperature and saturation magnetization of alloy powders as well as permeability, loss, coercivity of Ti/Fe-3Si-0.5Al-2Ni soft magnetic composites were investigated. The results indicate that the gas-atomized powders have high sphericity and only single α-Fe(Si) solid solution phase. Ti element doping can increase the curie temperature of the Ti/Fe-3Si-0.5Al-2Ni powders, but lower the saturation magnetization, however, the loss, coercivity and the effective magnetic permeability of Ti/Fe-3Si-0.5Al-2Ni soft magnetic composites are improved by increasing Ti mass fraction up to 2wt%, at which the comprehensive magnetic properties are optimized.
