Abstract:
V-N co-doped TiO
2/glass beads photocatalytic composites were synthesized by sol-gel method. The effects of several preparation condition, such as V-N co-doped TiO
2(V-N-TiO
2) concentration, V-N-TiO
2/glass beads dipping times, glass beads size and calcination temperature were studied. The V-N-TiO
2/glass beads photocatalytic composites were characterized by TEM, EDS, XRD, XPS and their photocatalytic properties for phenol degradation were investigated. The result shows that the V-N-TiO
2/glass beads composite with 2%V-N-TiO
2 and 2~3 mm glass beads, dipping for 4 times, calcinating at 400℃ for 4.5 h, exhibits the best photocatalytic performance. Moreover, the degradation amount of phenol per the V-N-TiO
2/glass beads composite is slightly higher than V-N-TiO
2. The prepared V-N-TiO
2/glass beads composite reveals good photocatalytic performance and stability of recycle.
