Al2O3SiO2 SOL GEL COATINGS ON CARBON FIBERS AND ITS APPLICATIONS

摘要: 采用溶胶-凝胶( sol-gel) 技术, 以正硅酸乙酯、三氯化铝和硝酸铝为基本原料, 按3Al2O3/2SiO2的组成配制成溶胶。将此溶胶对碳纤维进行涂覆并无机化, 得到纤维单丝表面均匀致密的氧化物涂层。在高温下此涂层可从氧化物转变为莫来石晶型。涂层对碳纤维的高温抗氧化性有显著提高, 并且增强了碳纤维与铝基体和碳化硅陶瓷基体的复合性能。Abstract: Oxide sols were prepared with Si(OEt)4, AlCl3, and Al(NO3) 3. Well distributed and inseparable Al2O3 SiO2 coating, which can be transformed to Mullite crystalline at high temperature, on carbon fibers was obtained by sol gel and inorganization processes. The coating improved carbon fiber's resistance to oxidation at high temperature and compatibilities with the matrixes of aluminum and SiC ceramic.
