INVESTIGATION OF MC NYLON REINFORCED WITH CARBON FIBER

MC nylon reinforced with carbon fiber was prepared through anion polymerization. The influence of carbon fiber content on the properties and microstructure of the C/MC composite was studied. It was shown that the composite exhibited excellent mechanical properties. Uniform dispersion of carbon fiber in the matrix had been obtained. The composite possessed good adhesion properties between carbon fiber and the matrix.
