MODEL OF CONDUCTIVE STRUCTURE OF UNIDIRECTIONAL CFRP
-
Abstract
A Model of conductive structure of unidirectional carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP) is studied. The conductive structure of CFRP can be characterized by the contact number of neighbouring carbon fibers per unit section and the distance of two neighbouring contact points. The measurements of the variation of the electrical resistivity due to dimension of specimen show satisfactory agreement between the theoretical calculations and the experimental determinations
