OBTAINING OF TiN COATING ON CERAMIC PARTICLES AND ITS USE
The CVD installation to obtain coating on ceramic particles was designed and made. The process of obtaining TiN coating on Al2O3 particles was investigated. The results show that the TiN coating can improve the infiltrating depth of the heat resistant steel liquid between Al2O3 particles, and the particles can be firmly sustained by the matrix. The fraction of Al2O3 particles in composite may be adjusted between 23%～57%.
