RELATION BETWEEN ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY OF CF/Cu COMPOSITES AND DISTRIBUTION OF FIBERS

  • Electrical conductivity of the CF/Cu composites with different modes of CF orientation and distribution, prepared by hot pressing, was examined to be in order: unidirectional longitudinal>bidirectional>spiral>unidirectional transversal>random short fibers. The electrical conductivity of the CF/Cu composites decreases with the increase of the volume of carbon fiber.
