PHYSICALLY NONLINEAR BUCKLING OF UNSYMMETRIC ANGLE-PLY RECTANGULAR PLATES UNDER VARIOUS SUPPORT CONDITIONS

  • Assuming an unsymmetric angle-ply rectangular plate subjected the inplane uniaxial compression, we can get the basic buckling equations as following Let the trial function be where Ui(y),Vi(y) and Wi(y) are the linear combination of quintic B-spline function. The trial function made it possible to investigate the buckling of the laminated plates si帅1y supported at the opposite edges and variously supported at the other edges by weighted-residual method (WRM).
