A QUASI-CONFORMING AND PENALTY ELEMENT OF LARGE DEFLECTION LAMINATED COMPOSITE PLATES

Abstract
A fifteen-variable quasi-conforming triangle clement technique including transverse shear effect for penalty-finite element method is used to the analysis for large deflection of laminated composite plates.The calculated results reveal,that this clement has good convergence and preesion.A number of figures show the effects of boundary conditipns,fiber lay angle,the number of layers,and the clastic modull of the matorlals.
