This paper performs the elastic contact force and stress analysis of composite bolted joints by using the finite element mixed method.The effects of pin elasticity,laminate layup and friction on the dividing load proportiom and the hole edge stresses are discussed.The condition under which the bolted joint with two or more holes can be simplified to that with a single hole is given.
