COMPOSITE CHARACTERISTICS OF ALUMINIUM REINFORCED BY THE HIGH MODULUS CARBON FIBERS COATED WITH ALUMINIUM AND SIC PARTICULATES

  • High-modulus type carbon fiber reinforced aluminium composite materials,in which aluminium was ion-plated on,and fine SiC particulates were distributed among the fibers,were prepared by a pressure casting process.The composite characteristics of aluminium and these fibers were investigated.
