ALUMINA PARTICULATE REINFORCED PURE ALUMINIUM MATRIX COMPOSITE

The feasibility of fabrieating the Al₂O₃ particulate reinforced aluminium matrix composites via powder metallurgy using conventional equipments and technology has been reported in the present microstructure and mechanical propertie,of the composites paper. The containing various amount of Al₂O₃ Particles,as well as the influence of the second hot-extrusion on the particulate distribxtion and the strengthening effct to the matrix have also been studied.
