SEEPAGE CRITERION FOR GRP PIPES

  • The microstrain of balanced laminate is calculated with finite element analysis and the maximum strain-concentration coefficient is obtained from the micromechanical results. The micromechanical criterion for the balanced laminate and the seepage criterion of GRP pipe are built up on the basis of criterion of resin breaking. The influence of fiber fractions, temperature difference and pipe diameters on seepage pressure of GRP pipe are discussed in this paper.
