AVERAGE ELASTIC-PLASTIC BEHAVIOR OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS WITH PROLTE SPHEROID INCLUSIONS IN THE CONDITION OF AXIAL STRESS

Abstract
The average elastic-plastic behavior of the composite material in the condition of axial stress is discussed.This composite material is composed of matrix of isotropic materials and prolate spheroid inclusion of isotropic materials.The volume of any inclusion is smaller than that of matrix,and the inclusions fittightly against the matrix.A criterion whether the matrix or inclusion yields first at the yield point is found.The relation between the yield stress of the matrix of the composite material and the inclusion of the composite material is shown.When the matrix or the inclusion first yields,the overall stress and stress-strain relationship of the composite material are obtained.
