BENDING OF THE SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY REINFORCED COMPOSITE BEAM

The constitutive relation of pure bending deformation of the shape memory alloy wire hybrid fiber reinforced composite beam is obtained in terms of the one dimensional thermo-mechanical constitutive relation of the shape memory alloy. The curvature change of the beam due to the variation of temperature is analysed.
