STRESS CONCENTRATION TEST STUDY OF ORTHOTKOPIC THIN PLATE OF LIMITED WIDTH

Applying plane photoelastic experiment and strain measurement with three resistance strain gages,the stress concentration factors of a limited wide orthotropic elastic tensile plate around a hole in the centre were determined. A comparison suggests that the results from the two methods are quite in agreement,which shows that they are effective and practical.
