OPTIMUM DESION OF LAYER SEOUENCE FOR VIBRATION PARAMETERS OF COMPOSITE LAMINATES

  • The method of reduced region is used to solve the layer sequence optimization problem of composite laminates that have the specified layer number and angles,to satisfy the requirements of vibration frequencies and modal damping. By means of calculation of a 20-ply symmetrical composite laminate,it can be shown that using this method can not only save a lot of computational time,but also make the frequencies and modal damping capacities coincide well with the experimental results,and thus the reliability of this method is proved.The research in this paper can be used as an effective method in engineering design,and the software is of special engineering value.
