NONLINEAR THERMAL VIBRATION OF COMPOSITE LAMINATED PLATES ——PART Ⅰ: THEORY AND NUMERICAL ANALYSIS
-
Abstract
Nonlinear thermal vibration of composite laminated plates has been studied by using a new generalized higher order computing model considering both the transverse normal strain and shear strains. The validity and effectiveness of the model are demonstrated by comparison with the solutions obtained by the other existent references. The effects of temperature on the curve of dimensionless nonlinear vibration frequencies vs dimensionless amplitudes are especially investigated by numerical results.
