1991, 8(3): 9-14.
Abstract:
This paper studied the influcnce of thermal cxposure, thermal cycle, matrix alloys, degree of rough surface and kinds of fiber on corrosion resistance of carbon-aluminium composite. The results indicate that the interfacial corrosion between carbon fiber and aluminium is aggravated and the corrosion resistance of carbon-aluminium composite deteriorated after exposing when carbon-aluminium composite was immersed in distilled water or 3.5% NaCl solution, and thermal cycle has a little effect on corrosion resistance of carbon-aluminium composite, rough surface has dctrimental effect on corrosion resistance of carbon-aluminium composite,carbon-aluminium composite is stronger than carbon-6061A1 composite and graphite-aluminium composite is stronger than carbon-aluminium composite on corrosion resistance.

THE FRACTURE BEHAVIOR OF HYBRID FIBRE REINFORCED POLYPHENYLENE SULFIDE
He Guoren, Zeng Hanmin, Yang Guicheng
1991, 8(3): 29-36.
Abstract:
This paper deals with the effects of hot water immersion and accelerated weather aging on the mechanical properties of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) composites hybrid rainforc.:d with carbon fibre(CF) and glass fibre (GF). The tensile and flexible strength of these composites roughly conform to the mixture law, however they show different susecptablities to these two aging procedures. The strength retention of composites after aging is related to the aging mode an d the nature of fibres.
TOUGHENING OF THERMOSETS WITH HIGH MODULAR POLYMERS Ⅰ.THE FRACTURE ENERGY AND THE TOUGHENING MECHANISM OF EPOXY-PSF SYSTEM
Yin Lixin, Wang Fengchu
1991, 8(3): 37-42.
Abstract:
In this paper the fracture energy GIC of epoxy-PSF system has been tes- ted with TDCB (Tapered-double-cantilever beam) samples. The results show that this system not only has a high GIC value, but also GIC and GIa are almost equal.Comparing the GIC temperature char with dynamic mechanical properties(DMA),we find that the toughness of the system relates to its visco- elastic properties. From the SEM photographs,a structure that the tenacious polymer as an unint}rruptad phase, wraps thermosetting spherule, i.e.a"networ- kmicrospherule" structure was observed. It is this structure that makes the GIC of epoxy-PSF system high.

Liu Dong, Ou Maocai
1991, 8(3): 77-86.
Abstract:
An analysis for th:postbuckling bahavior of antisymmetrically laminated angle-ply rectangular plates with various boundary conditions is presented by making use of the pertuxbation tschniquc. The nondimensional maximum deflection is selected as.the perturbation parameter. A solution of perturbation differential equation of higher-order approximation is assumed in the form of double Fourier serics consisting of the beam function. This method is very efficient and the i.umcrical results show good convergence and reliability of the present solution.

Sun Guojun
1991, 8(3): 97-104.
Abstract:
The effect of geometric parameters of the shell and thp stiffener, as well as the shell laminate configuration on the buckling and initial postbuckling behavior of stringer or ring stiffancd laminate circular cylinders is analysed. The initial postbuckling analysis is based on Koiter's general theory. The calculations for various geometric parameters and shell laminate and loading configurations show that in every case, outside stiffening is more efficient than inside stiffening;the stiffening efficiency of composite cylinders is higher than their isotropic counterparts; the buckling and initial postbuckling behavior is influenced significantly by the shell laminate configuration.
