Jin Cheng, Wang Yizhi, Yang Hongzhi, Xue Yuande, Wu Renjie
1986, 3(1): 11-Ⅱ.
Abstract:
The failure process in carbon fiber reinforces aluminium composite (C/Al) has been investigated by estimating tensile strength and acoustic emission behavior during loading combined with the analysis of the fracture morphology. The test specimens are cut from C/Al composite plates which have been prepared by using the diffusion bonding technique in air. Actnal dimensions of the specimens are 100 mm in length,6mm in width and 2~3 mm in thickness.
ON OPTIMUM ANALYSIS OF LAMINATES UNDER LATERAL LOAD
Tang Jun
1986, 3(1): 18-Ⅲ.
Abstract:
The present paper provides a theoretical proof for that the natural frepuency of laminated plate under lateral load can be reduced and the deflection of the plate increased by the coupling between bending and extension. The expressions of the natural frequency and deflection under lateral load for laminates have been derived. It is proved that the expressions of both the natural frequency and the deflection consist of two terms. The first term which is as the same as corresponding expression of symmetrical laminate is positive and the second term negative, which is the influence of the coupling between beetling and extension. The laminates which give the highest natural freuluencv and the lowowest deflection are found to he symmetrical laminates from optimum analysis of laminates.

1986, 3(1): 36-Ⅴ.
Abstract:
In order to study the structures and properties of polymeric composite materials by ellopsonmetry techniques, the first important thing is to derive and analyze the equations of ellipsometry and select the adequate experimental parameters frm the poine of view of polymetric materials.
ENERGY METHOD IN INTERLAMINAR STRESS ANALYSIS OF LAMINATES
Xia Kun, Zhang Xing
1986, 3(1): 45-Ⅵ.
Abstract:
The governing differential equations of composite.Jaminate are obtained by evpanding the in-plane normal stresses into a series along the thickness of plate and applying the complementary energy method. The solution of these equations yields the distribution of interlaminar stresses.

He Shoujian
1986, 3(1): 54-Ⅵ.
Abstract:
In principle, the equations given in the paper can be applied to any kind of windable geometric surface and any determined way of motion of the fiber feed. The equations deal with concepts of "falling point stabilizaton" and "supporting point stabizaton".
A PLY CRITERION OF IN-PLANE LAMINATES ON ENERY OPTIMIZATION
Liu Xili, Xiao Jun
1986, 3(1): 61-Ⅶ.
Abstract:
In this paper, a "unified" ply optimization modle for in-plane laminates based or minimum strain energy criterion is built up, with the in-plane laminated element as structure modle whose main elastic axie coincids with its main orientattion of stress resultant, average strain energy density as the object function, the lamina fraction and fiber angle of lamina as design variables and materilas properties and total fraction of each kind of materials (for hybrid laminates) being given as the restrictions.

1986, 3(1): 70-Ⅸ.
Abstract:
The deyendenne of the uniaxial critical load for simply supported rectangular nmlti-ply laminated platos ou the state of their laminated layers is analyzed and explained. To increase the critical load of the plate the best form of lamination is indicated.Lamination angles corresponding to the maximum critical loads given in the calculated examples of this paper agree well with what is in Ref.[3]where the optimality criteria is used.

Chen Liemin
1986, 3(1): 74-Ⅸ.
Abstract:
The analysis for room-temperture shape of unsymmetric laminates after high-temperture curing is significant for design and manufacturing of composite materials.Hyer first calculated this room-te-mpertnre shape by using minimum potential energy theorem and large deflection theory of thin plate, but his calculation method is too compplex to be used in engineering.
