CHARACTERIZATION AND ANALYSIS ON SEVERAL CARBON FIBERS

摘要: 使用扫描电镜、原子力显微镜与X射线光电子能谱仪,对T300,T700,T800,AS4四种碳纤维的表面进行物理与化学表征和分析。用扫描电镜观察得出T300,T800表面物理形态相近,T700表面较光滑但有絮状浆料,AS4表面极光滑且直径较大。原子力显微镜揭示了碳纤维更微观的形貌,T300与T800的形貌差别清晰可见。XPS定量分析技术表明,T300,T700,T800表面的活性基本相同,AS4则较差。纤维表面状态的这些差异体现在其复合材料的界面力学性能上。Abstract: The physical and chemical characterization and analysis on the surface of four carbon fibers (T300,T700,T800 and AS4) were performed by SEM, AFM and XPS. Observed by SEM,the surface physical morphology of T300 and T800 was similar, the surface of T700 was glossier and had floccules and the surface of AS4 was most glossy and had larger diameter. More micromorphology of carbon fibers were revealed, the difference on surface state of T300 and T800 were great. Quantitative analysis by XPS, the surface activity of T300,T700 and T800 were materialized on the mechanical property of composites' interface.
